Account Executive

We are looking to hire a PR enthusiast to join our team as an Account Executive. As an emerging PR professional, the ideal candidate will play a key supporting role engaging constructive daily support and deepening their knowledge of media relations to build the brands of our clients as well as our firm. In this growing role, the Account Executive will have the opportunity to develop a better understanding of the financial services, and technology industries that we focus on.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Serve as the primary support on up to 4 accounts, coordinating directly with the lead(s) on assigned accounts to ensure proper coverage of clients, including:
  • Drafting and editing press releases on behalf of assigned clients
  •  Drafting and editing social media posts on behalf of assigned clients
  •  Compiling, researching, and managing media lists
  •  Compiling and managing awards, events & speaking opportunity lists
  •  Preparing and managing any reporting or metrics required, in partnership with lead on each account
  • Developing creative ways to pitch the media, particularly in the B2B and B2C fintech, finance, and technology spaces, to secure client coverage
  •  Pitching targeted media on assigned clients and coordinating ownership of specific pitches with lead & other support staff
  • Setting and managing evolving internal and external deadlines, ensuring proper communication with the internal team and clients
  • Support the overarching client needs of the team, serving as a key point person for any projects as they arise outside of the assigned client group, including:
  •  Research, editing, or drafting of content on behalf of clients outside of those assigned
  • Maintaining updated media lists across the team and clients, ensuring updated contact information is available for all media outreach efforts
  • Compiling and reviewing client and team reporting and media metrics
  • Regular reading of key media outlets, to ensure continued expansion of knowledge of the financial services and technology (FinTech, LegalTech, MarTech, Real Estate Tech) spaces
